Nexus Youth Speak Out Against Mental Health Stigma

Wednesday, June 3, 2015

Could understand what I was going through and made me feel good and that it was okay to have [those feelings]. Made me laugh and understand my feelings in a different way.
On Thursday, June 11th, Nexus Youth Services invites you to join us for NexTalks at the Nexus Youth Centre.

NexTalks will feature youth speakers from the NYS and Peel communities who will be sharing their struggles and successes in dealing with mental health challenges and mental health support services.

The goal of this event is to help destigmatize mental health challenges by normalizing the experiences of so many youth in our community.

We'd love for you to come out and support our amazing young people. Our staff have been personally impacted by their stories and we know you will be, too!

What: NexTalks
When: Thursday, June 11, 2015 - 5:30pm - 8:00pm
Where: Nexus Youth Centre (Mississauga Central Library, 2nd floor)

We invite you to share this event information with your networks. This is a free event and all are welcome to attend. Free snacks and beverages will be provided.
