Everyone is different, but come together through some similarities

Are You Worried About Something?

Monday, September 30, 2013

MindYourMind.ca is a great website with lots of super helpful mental health resources, including articles and coping tools. Recently, they shared a blog from their Content Developer, Diana, in which she writes about how to cope with worrying. Everybody worries -- it's a normal response to the sometimes stressful and unpredictable situations we find ourselves facing -- but it's like sitting in a rocking chair: it gives you something to do, but you'll never get anywhere.

Diana suggests a great strategy for fighting off the urge to worry. She writes: "Try replacing your thoughts of worry with thoughts of things that could go right! For each worry, come up with 3 alternative positive possibilities."

Sounds simple, right? Why not give it a try! To read the rest of what Diana has to say about worrying, visit MindYourMind.ca's blog
