Nexus Thanks Marble Slab Mississauga!

On Saturday, August 9, Mohamed Yusef and his team at Marble Slab Mississauga welcomed staff and youth volunteers for Celebrity Scoop Night in support Nexus Youth Services. From 3pm until 7pm, Darren, Johar and Mohammed rolled up their sleeves and scooped ice cream and mixin’s for hungry customers. Quick learners, youth volunteers Johar and Mohammed had a lot of fun interacting with customers alongside regular staff members Anna and Julie.

Thank you to Mohamed and his staff for inviting the Nexus team to try out scooping for an afternoon, and for generously donating thirty percent of the proceeds, totaling $232.50, in support of Nexus’s programs and services. We appreciate your support!
