We All Scream for Ice Cream!

I felt comfortable and helpful in this environment
On Sunday August 30th, we invite you to join us at the Marble Slab Creamery in Mississauga from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. for Hope Floats, a fundraiser in support of Nexus Youth Services!

Our legendary hosts the Marble Slab Creamery will be donating 20% of sales at the counter and 100% of sales of floats to Nexus.

What’s A Float?
ICYMI, a float is an incredible, unbelievable, life-altering food/drink that combines your favourite ice cream with your favourite fizzy beverage. The result is a magically cold and sweetly refreshing nectar of the gods type treat. After you buy some ice cream, you can make an donation of $2 or more and one of our Beverage Ambassador volunteers will provide you with a can of pop to make your float come alive. If you choose to forgo the float experience, Marble Slab offers UNLIMITED toppings with the purchase of any ice cream, and 20% of ice cream sales will be donated to Nexus.

Get Involved
Hope Floats is more than just a sugar rush on a Sunday afternoon, it’s also an opportunity to give back. We’re looking for volunteers to help us sell floats and promote Nexus Youth Services to the public. Volunteering as a “Beverage Ambassador” for the afternoon is an opportunity to hone your sales chops and have fun while helping to promote Nexus to the community. For those of you still in high school, this is a great way to earn volunteer hours, too.

If you’re interested in a great day of floats and fun, meet the Nexus team at Marble Slab Creamery (5955 Latimer Drive) on Sunday August 30th at 1:45 p.m. All you need to bring is a smile.
